Event will be organized in accordance with the local skydiving regulations that are in place for that specific country the event is taking place in. In Norway event will be following the rules and regulations of the Norwegian Skydiving Association (F/NLF). On Iceland we will be following the rules and regulations of Fallhlifastokkvarer Islands (Icelandic Skydivers Association)
These regulations might differ from the local regulations of your local Skydiving Association. If you for some reason are not comfortable with these regulations, or conditions, you are free to not take part in skydiving. You are not free to demand that skydives are to take place, or that others should not be allowed to skydive. If conditions are not seen fit for skydiving, trip will continue by bus or boat to next destination.
All Landing areas that are in use, qualify as student landing areas in the Norwegian and Icelandic Skydiving Association. This means that landing areas should be safe and easy for all approved participants of SkydivingExpeditions.com events.
Participants will not physically see intended landing area before landing there. There will be a briefing the evening before the actual jumps where pictures or/and video of the landing area will be displayed, together with a briefing of the landing area, possible obstacles and alternative landing areas. There will be a T indicating wind direction, a wind indicator and in some cases smoke to identify landing area, and flight pattern. In some sites we might use other visual references to determine flight pattern/approach to landing area.
