Arne Aarhus, born to a Norwegian father and an Icelandic mother, grew up in Germany and started skydiving in 1992.
An enthusiastic traveler, Arne started exploring countries and visiting dropzones worldwide. After many years of traveling, the urge to use his canopy to explore beautiful sites from the air grew stronger and stronger - as well as the need to see and explore more than just established landing areas.
In 1995 Arne started to BASE jump. The first jump was in Lyseboth with Stein Edvardsen, Frode Johannesen, and Tommy Steinsland. Following that, his access to explore countries by canopy dramatically widened. The desire to share this experience with fellow skydivers in a safe and accessible manner grew. After attending different skydiving events around the world, the shape and plan for SkydivingExpeditions.com came about.
Arne has been arranging skydiving at different landing sites around the world since 1992. In 2021 he founded Icehopp and later continued organizing trips through skydivingexpeditions. Since 2021 Arne has been organizing 8 different skydivingexpeditions in 13 different countries, having more than 200 unique skydivers, doing more than 2000 skydive, in more that 50 different unique landingspots. Landings have been at different countries, size and altitude. You name the challenge, and we have faced it and overcome it. Skydivingexpedition aims to continuously find new interesting places to do skydivingexpeditions, in order to give its participants new adventures every year. In each country we cooperate with the best resources available in order to make this the safest, best skydivingexperience possible.

Lorena is a great Spanish girl with 3000 skydives that currently works at SkydiveVoss as a packer, rigger and videoperson. If you need a special video she is for sure the one to do it. She will add a smile into every skydiver she meets!
Benny is a retired fireman, that is participating as ground crew for third year in a row. He has a big interest for history, and knows more then most about Icelands history. He is always smiling spreading good atmosphere amongst everybody he meets. If you have questions about cars, he is certainly the man to ask!
Kåre Jørgensen is with us for second year on this expedition. He started skydiving in 1989, and later educated himself to physiotherapist and doctor, and has been working as ER doctor regular doctor since early 2000 in Bergen. With big passion for life and adventures he is a perfect addition to this crew.
